I write about unconventional characters in heightened realities.

My tv & film writing interests.

I write about LGTBQ+ people, strong women, and older people who are navigating an edge.

I write from my own experiences: every story I tell, every character I create, every world I imagine is drawn from a lifetime of figuring it out. I put people who are often on the sidelines center stage. I write to make sense of a world that often feels senseless.

I bring a strong sense of the theatrical to my television and film scripts that I’ve developed from years of working in theater. I’m highly inspired by the work of Pedro Almodovar (especially his earlier films), Peter Greenaway, and John Waters.

My writing is rich with atmosphere and strongly rooted in place and time.

Television Pilots

-ScreenCraft TV Pilot Compeition 2024, judges comment on Sweet Science

“Our main character, Alan, has wonderful dialogue, capturing the ‘witty’ one-liners that so often resonate with the audience. This can be seen throughout the narrative, such as his argument with Barry and when he's taken boxing. Furthermore, the script immediately sets up the drama by introducing the conflict between Alan and Barry within the first few pages.”

-Blacklist evaluation of The Isles

“this pilot is a slice of sheer originality with shades of GENUIS.”

-Shore Scripts coverage report

[The Isles] is an entertaining and emotional pilot. The dialogue results in consistent comedic beats, accompanied by visuals that accentuate their humor. The characters are empathetic, with an effective mix of energies and attitudes.”

-WeScreenplay coverage report

[SAFE WORD] is a fun show with colorful characters and plenty of drama, conflict and humor to keep an audience entertained. The dynamic between Courtney and her fellow desperate housewives is a lot of fun.”
